The PTA of All Saints School is a fundraising organisation run by volunteers from the school community. Our funds provide additional learning opportunities for the children, such as theatre, music and gardening that really make a difference to the children’s learning and enjoyment of school life.
Last year the money we raised contributed to revamping the nature trail in the playground, workshops, theatre, tennis lessons and extended the supply of I-pads to allow every classroom to have access to this technology.
Everything helps – every Friday we sell a selection of home-made and bought cakes outside the school which provides a weekly donation that the school use to buy library books.
We are run as a charity for the school – we have a clear structure to fulfil this obligation. We are made up of (chair, vice-chair, and secretary and treasury team) and every class has two parent representatives. But what makes the PTA special is the involvement of the entire school community to help at both fundraising and school events for our children that make all the difference!
